I first became exposed to teaching in 2006 when I earned a black belt in karate, but it was not until 2019 when I was first exposed to education at the post-secondary level. Early on in my career, I saw myself as a Massage Therapists who taught. Now, with over 3000 hours of post-secondary teaching experience, I now see myself as an educator first.

Teaching Massage Therapy has been an enriching experience for me. I have a clear understanding of adult learning theory and utilize it to help my students understand massage therapy. I hold much value in student feedback in conjunction with grades to consistently improve while meeting the learning objectives.
